This view of Main road shows the middle section shops looking north. Just passed the shops can be seen 'Highclere House' and on the land next to that you can just make out the teapot adverting 'Teapot Tearooms'.

The photo is taken in 1960 and Biggin Hill was a very different place then. Just one van parked making a delivery and no road matkings. The bus stop is still in the same place although just out of shot on the Now photo.
