This is Main Road taken from outside the Library looking up towards the shops. The two semi-detached houses, one hidden by a bungalow in the first photo, are still there today. To the left of the picture are the shops which still stand on the corner of Lebanon Gardens (the two windows on the end of the shops have now been covered by an extension to the building).
