It is interesting to note that in a lot of photographs on this site there are more trees now than then and in the others there are less trees now than then. This photograph falls into the latter. If you were told that there was a row of trees down the middle of Main Road in the 'old days' you would not have believed them. Two features interesting to note: The shop with the gabled roof on the left still exists today as does the bungalow on the right with the tiled roof.
