Vincent Square

Vincent Square use to be the married quarters for the RAF personnel just across the Main Road from the main entrance. Little has changed, except for a lick of white paint, but what of the gaps? Nos. 25, 26, 27, 31 and 32 were bombed during the second world war and were never re-built.

When Leavesden Estate was being constructed in 2007, the opportunity was taken to rebuild the houses in Vincent Square. So now nos. 25, 26, 27, 31 and 32 have returned to complete the three runs of four buildings. One house was rebuilt on the opposite side of the square as well.
