'Troy'

Standing alone at the foot of Stock Hill, the row of trees and bushes running left to right, is 'Troy' one of the earliest of Biggin Hill's buildings which still survives today. Behind it, a bleak Mount Pleasant rises up and, at the top, between the clump of trees, is the Refreshment and Auction Room of the Aperfield Court Estate. Due to the congestion of housing around Troy I was not able to reproduce the original photograph exactly. The owner kindly let me take it from the front garden.
