You have seen it many times on this website but this is the real thing. Unveiled by the Mayor on a rainy 31st October 1998 it depicts a Spitfire and two Hurricanes, the Aperfield Cedar, St. Marks Church, the Valley and wildlife.  The layout, and contents, was designed by members of the 'Biggin Hill and District Resident's Association' then constructed by 'T. J. Recycled Materials' of Bromley.
