The fact there were two lodges for the Aperfield Court has never been in question but exact location, and appearance, of the North Lodge has not been known for many years. The South Lodge is, of course, still standing. It was only until recently, when i discovered the 1903 Property Book, that it was pointed out to me that two of the photos in the book are of the North Lodge. For the record, it stood on the corner of Church Road and Main Road on the land that St. Marks now stands.
