Taken from a point just by the roundabout at the bottom of Stock Hill, by Vale Cottage, Norheads Lane turns to the right at Ivy Cottage (minus the ivy). This cottage, together with Vale Cottages, featured a lot in the old photographs of Biggin Hill as they were one of the first buildings in the valley. Ivy Cottage was demolished in the 1980's to make way for modern housing. The two bungalows along from Ivy Cottage, Nos. 9 and 11, still remain.
