Facing you as you approach Biggin Hill from Leaves Green, the Kings Arms has been a popular public house for many years. A slightly different 'Then and Now' for this pub. I was sent this picture with these words:

"my name is andrew and i live in sydney australia. i am an electrician and have come across something you might be interested in.... I do regular maintainance work at a war veterans retirement village in a place called Collaroy Plateau in sydney. Every time one of the residents passes away the family takes everything of value and leaves the rest to be discarded, The empty unit is usually re-furbished and another person moves in.... left behind in this particular unit was an oil painting i just had to take, it showes the Kings arms pub in great detail and is dated 1976 painted by Ena Gaddes.

So does anyone know about this painting or, indeed, the artist?
