This row of houses still exists in Jail Lane but the road is much wider and busier. In fact, unless you knew they were there it would be hard to find then behind the fir tree and hedges. But the 4 houses in the foreground still have the double bay windows but all have lost their chimneys. As have the next two houses with the gable roofs.
