The Grove - Holly Lodge

Holly Lodge stood alone beside a muddy track now known as the Grove in this photo taken in 1907. Who would have thought that, when the Then photograph was taken, it would be so difficult 100 years later to get the same angle for the Now photograph. Now surrounded on 3 sides by housing. It's nice to see that Holly Lodge has still retained most of it's original features.

This house holds an interesting war time story which you can read at "The Pilot, the Lodge and the Dutch Resistance" in the 'People section'.
